South Carolina fractional resort garnering accolades
The Sanctuary at Hampton Lake, a fractional private residence club in Bluffton, South Carolina, is collecting some impressive accolades. In 2007 and 2008 it won the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Best in American Living Award (BALA), and it has also just been given the thumbs up by the "Southern Way of Life" blog, which listed its advantages as "no maintenance, no second home worries and concierge services that make you feel like the rich and famous".
The club is offering 1/8th shares in 3,100 square foot luxury homes on a lake in close proximity to resort amenities with unlimited additional usage based on availability. Ownership includes membership of The Registry Collection exchange programme, with prices starting at US$175,000.
Most lakefront homes and lots will accommodate boat slips for easy back yard access to Hampton Lake, with its fishing and watersports possibilities, and the resort also has a spa and an 18 hole Championship Pete Dye golf course.
The Sanctuary has also joined the “try before you buy” trend by offering its own three-day, two-night “Sneek-a-Peak” deals, with prices starting at $295 per couple. This includes a spa treatment or a round of golf.
